Young people re-elected the president. Now they get to pay disproportionately for ObamaCare.
But it’s for the common good!
“Democracy is the theory that the common man knows what he wants, and deserves to get it, good and hard” — Mencken
There’s an interesting tendency toward atavistic sexual metaphor for just about everything that offends libertarians.
I’m an adult baby who doesn’t realize that young people disproportionately pay for all forms of social insurance because we finance them through regressive Ponzi schemes. Please warm up this milk for me while I cash my Buzzfeed checks.
I think I can speak for myself and the rest of the Adult Baby community when I say that I for one am very disappointed in this news. I initially thought that I was voting for Obama because I though he had the right vision for the country. Then the Libertarians reminded me that I was totally voting out of self interest and my vote had been bought, so I was all, yeah, whatever, that was probably it politics are hard.
And now all the sudden it’s like I wasn’t actually bought off and maybe I voted an extra burden on myself because I accidentally thought it was right and I’m confused about my motives for doing this thing I did. We adult babies need our motives explained to us in simple, consistent terms because complexity is hard.
