If George Bush and John McCain want to have a debate about protecting the United States of America, that is a debate that I’m happy to have any time, any place and that is debate I will win because George Bush and John McCain have a lot to answer for.
I’m looking forward to this debate because I think it represents an actual ideological difference on foreign policy. Some call Obama’s stance “naive.” Others call the Bush/McCain stance “failed.” Right now, I think Obama’s stance makes a lot more sense—but I might be persuaded otherwise if somebody can put forward a good argument for the refusing to talk to countries we don’t like.
