Clinton is playing nice
I’ll have to give credit where credit is due. It looks like Clinton realizes that the math is impossibly against her and perhaps is working to shape how the prolonged race will be remembered. By keeping the contest nominally alive, the Democrats capture a disproportionate share of the headlines. Better yet, a strong finish will put her in good shape for 2012 or 2016. Best yet, she may be able to emerge with her leadership role in the party intact. She may be the real power in the Senate next year.
