Mississippi Fallout
Yesterday’s big political story might actually be from Mississippi. While West Virginia’s primary went about as expected, the Democrats picked up a House seat in a conservative part of Mississippi. The Republicans are losing pretty everywhere.
This was also one of the races where Republicans tried to tie the Democratic candidate to Barack Obama as if he were somehow the antithesis of conservatism. It turns out, that doesn’t work.
