What’s with the Obama/Joker posters?

Obama isn’t actually a socialist—but I understand what you’re going for there. I understand hyperbole. But why the Joker? The Joker isn’t a socialist either. He’s a nihilist—which is about as far from a socialist as you can get.

With hundreds of supervillians to choose from, how did you manage to choose the one that made absolutely no sense?
