I like talking to the revolutionary Marxists about what, exactly their revolution is going to look like and whether they intend to personally kill me if I persist in my capitalist ways. The answer generally is that yes, it’s a violent revolution, but it’s the force of inevitability that’s going to do all the killing, and that all the killing will be justified because of how brutal the police are now. While I often agree that they have identified important problems, I think they’d be hard pressed to come up with worse solutions.
